Jennifer Angerame Jennifer is a Texas girl, and sewing is in her DNA. Her mother taught her how to sew when she was young, just as her mother taught her years before. For as long as she can remember, she’s been designing and sewing clothes and accessories for friends and herself.  After graduating from college, Jennifer moved to NYC and worked in the fashion industry. Walking home from work, she noticed a beautiful baby blanket made with vintage handkerchiefs in the window of a children’s boutique and thought, “I can do that.” She bought a bunch of vintage handkerchiefs at the 6th Avenue flea market and whipped up her own baby quilt.  Since then she’s been creating one-of-kind accessories and children’s clothing using vintage linens and other upcycled fabrics. website | instagram | facebook |

Jessica Rosario After 13 years in the public and private sector as a graphic designer, Jessica knew it was time for a new endeavor. Utilizing her fine arts education, love of nature, and a healthy bohemian lifestyle, she dove right into purchasing a 50-pound box of soy wax. After months of testing, trial, and error she created her first batch of all-natural soy candles. After product design, photos, and selling those first candles at local craft show, CottageWicks was born. Website | Instagram | Facebook | Etsy

Maureen Estony Maureen Estony was introduced to Woodstock Hill Preserves 25 years ago. They were the finest preserves she had ever had. Inspired, she imagined starting a business. She carried this idea around for years, musing with friends about specialty-food businesses. Hers would be local and honest, “just like Woodstock Hill Preserves," she'd say. One afternoon a neighbor overheard her. His father owned Woodstock Hill Preserves and wanted to sell. Two weeks later, she was owner of the oldest preserve company in CT. Her immediate challenges: build a kitchen andlearn how to makejam. It was time for things to happen. website | facebook
